PROTESTORS PICKET COURTHOUSE

Members of 'Parents for Children' converged on the Gratiot County Courthouse in Ithaca Tuesday morning to protest actions by the Friend of the Court. The picketers, who came from Gratiot, Isabella, Saginaw, Midland and Wayne counties say local court officials do not give equal treatment to divorced fathers regarding parental visitation rights. They also claim the county is in violation of state law because it has not established a citizen oversight committee to review the rulings.
